Decision details

The Alliance has requested bids for the funding of health prevention and early intervention projects across North East Essex (Tendring and Colchester). A decision has been made by the NE Essex Children's Partnership Board and the Council's Management Team to submit a bid which relates to the roll out of Wellbeing hubs in primary schools. Great Bentley Primary has been the pilot school since 2016 . This funding will allow for this framework for prevention and early intervention for improving children's health to be replicated across other schools in Tendring.

The decision was reached through the NE Essex Children's Partnership and the Council's Management Team that this project meets the Council's priorities. The project has been running since 2016 and evaluated through EWHMS . The Great Bentley pilot has been promoted as a model of good practice through Healthwatch Essex.
