Purpose:

Key decision considerations included; Mitel’s announced withdrawal of support for integration with Microsoft Skype/ TEAM which plays a key element of the Council’s converged communication and Cloud migration strategies, cost, product quality, solution reliability, Council reputation, technology fit with the customer service team needs, fully supportive of the customer service strategy and the digital transformation strategy.

Decision:

To replace the Council’s contact centre supporting technology contract directly through the government G-Cloud9 procurement framework for a period of 3 years

Please see attached report. The procurement is via the UK Government G-Cloud9 framework which is fully compliant with the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) Procurement Regulations and can be used in accordance with the Council's Procurement Procedure Rules.
